Sundays at 2pm
Sondheim’s Broadway smash-hit musical concerns a reunion in a crumbling Broadway theatre of the past performers of the “Weismann’s Follies” that played in that theatre between the World Wars. Presented in concert, Follies is a glamorous and fascinating peek into a bygone era, and a clear-eyed look at the transformation of relationships over time, with countless songs that have become standards, including “Broadway Baby,” “I’m Still Here,” “Too Many Mornings”, “Could I Leave You?” and “Losing My Mind.”
Directed by Diane Hill, with music direction by Brian E. Buckner, “Follies in Concert” features Sue Booth, Thomas Murphy, Diane Hill, Roy Sexton, Annie Kordas, Kryssy Becker, Eddie Rothermel, Connor Rhoades, Harold Jurkiewicz, Olive Hayden-Moore, Carrie Jay Sayer, Emily Rogers-Driskill, Gayle Martin, and Edith Lewis. The production and design team includes Monica Spencer (scenic design), Jeff Alder (lighting design), and Briana O’Neal (stage manager).
Tickets for FOLLIES IN CONCERT are $30. We do not make reservations without payment in advance. Seats are general admission, and we work with a ticket-less system. You will receive a receipt for your ticket purchase from artful.ly. No need to print your receipt after purchase. Just give your name at Will Call.
Subscriber tickets are emailed 3-4 weeks prior to each production. If you are not able to attend your particular subscriber series performance, please email us or call the box office 734-635-8450 at least 24 hours in advance, or we cannot guarantee that we will able to exchange your tickets.
NO REFUND POLICY
All orders made are under the agreement that we will not refund money for any tickets under any circumstance. Cancelled reservations or NO SHOWS will not be refunded and the tickets do not transfer to a performance of a different show. Unused tickets may be converted to a donation to Theatre NOVA only if Theatre NOVA is notified at least 24 hours prior to the performance.
All tickets may be exchanged free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled performance for a different performance of the same production. Cancelled tickets or NO SHOWS will not be refunded.
Inclement Weather Policy. If the theatre determines that a performance can be held, then the "show will go on!" A liberal exchange policy will be in effect, meaning that patrons will be allowed to exchange their tickets for future performances of the same production (if available) or a future production of equal or lesser value. If a performance is held, there are NO REFUNDS on pre-paid tickets. Exchange tickets are subject to availability and must be completed 2 hours prior to curtain or will be considered a no show and tickets will be forfeited.
If the theatre determines that a performance can NOT be held, this decision is made at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled curtain time. In this case, patrons are given three options:
1 - Exchange tickets for another performance during the run
2 - Exchange tickets for another production later in the season if there is no availability for current production
3 - Transfer ticket purchase to a Theatre NOVA donation (tax deductible)
NOTE: Tickets being exchanged on a performance which can NOT be held, must be exchanged within seven days of the canceled performance. Tickets that are not rescheduled during the 7 day period will be converted to donations after seven days. Please email the theatre to make the exchange.
