ANNUAL REPORT

Each year, Theatre NOVA serves approximately 6,000 audience members with professionally produced productions, new play readings, youth programs, and community engagement events. We develop new plays and invest in the professional growth of Michigan-based artists, strengthening Southeast Michigan as a center for innovative theatre.

Our approach is both visionary and grounded. We listen to our community—engaging directly with patrons, artists, and neighbors to shape programming that is timely and relevant. Past productions have tackled mental health, climate change, racial justice, LGBTQ+ identity, aging, and addiction—inviting dialogue and fostering empathy.
